Hadley Hewitt set up THH Technical Services – specialising in demolition estimating, programming and pre-construction services – after 20 years in the demolition and construction industries. He began his career working for a main contractor (Carillion) where he was part of the team building Nottingham’s new tram system. He then had the opportunity to live and work in the Middle East, constructing Dubai Marina (then the world’s largest marina) and the Burj Khalifa infrastructure (still the world’s tallest building). On his return to the UK he joined the McGee Group, one of the UK’s leading demolition and groundworks companies. He spent 12 years working on some of London’s most challenging and interesting projects, including 122 Leadenhall Street, Bloomberg Square, BBC Television Centre, and Southbank Place. He most recently spent just over two years setting up and developing a demolition division for the Kilnbridge Group before leaving to focus on THH Technical Services.
